The Launching Church was established in response to the call of God and an honest discovery of God’s vision and plan for the planting of a “Reaching, Building and Launching” Church. We believe God has invited us to join together with Him in what He is planning and doing here in the North Georgia region and beyond.

So what make God’s vision and plan for The Launching Church unique?

1. We will have the ability to develop a real relationship with a Pastor and a growing team of Pastors and Leaders. These Pastoral/Leadership relationships are vital to the spiritual health and well-being of God’s people, marriages and families.
• Pastors and Leaders are accessible to the entire Body of Christ.
• You will always have a Pastor or Leader’s phone number and email address so you can contact us.
• We are dedicated and empowered to grow and expand our leadership team as our church continues to grow.
• We believe every person should have the opportunity to develop a meaningful relationship with a Pastor and/or a Discipleship Leader.
2. We will have the opportunity to be united in close relationships with one another in fulfillment of the heart of God that we would all be of one heart and one Spirit!
• Building relationships with one another is our primary focus.
• All spiritual growth and victory flows out of meaningful and influential relationships in the Body of Christ.
• Biblical Discipleship is only possible in the context of close and growing relationships.
• Jesus died to establish a relationship with His Church and people.
3. We will experience the joy and blessing of being discipled and mentored in the faith. This can ONLY happen in the context of a close relationship with God and other believers. We are thankful for every decision and confession of faith in Christ, but we must follow the heart and plan of God to make DISCIPLES of every nation. We are a discipleship church because this is God’s Biblical plan!
• We are a church that is focused on growing God’s people to maturity by establishing a foundation of the Word of God in the hearts of every believer.
• Discipleship is the natural outcome of salvation. Jesus commissioned us to make disciples of every nation.
• A disciple is a committed follower of Christ who is voluntarily under the discipline of the Word of God and spiritual authority.
• Discipleship is best accomplished in a spirit of love and grace. It is not based in legalism or a list of rules. The goal is a changed heart and this is only possible through the work of the Holy Spirit beginning at the new birth and continuing in the life-long work of sanctification.
4. We will have the opportunity for our unique talents, gifts and callings to be recognized and celebrated. We will then have ample opportunity to receive hands-on training in leadership to fulfill the purpose of God to advance and build the Kingdom in all areas of life.
• We believe God has uniquely gifted and called every believer.
• We enjoy discovering and developing the gifts in God’s people.
• People are the happiest and most fulfilled when they have discovered their gifts and begin to use these gifts in the exciting work of the Church and Kingdom.
5. We will have the opportunity to reach the lost and build a strong Body of believers – not just to grow bigger and bigger, but to see lives transformed and set free through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is our greatest joy! We will grow stronger so that we will have the ability to deliberately launch others out into the work of the Kingdom! We will never be a church that is striving for bigger numbers or to keep people locked into us, but we will always seek to sow and plant others into the work of the Kingdom in this region and beyond!
• Jesus never intended His Church to be inwardly focused.
• He never intended His Pastors and Leaders to be in competition with other ministries and churches.
• Our identity is firmly established in Christ. It is not based on our performance or the numbers related to the size of the ministry.
6. We will have the opportunity to empower, train and release the entire Body of Christ to enjoy the work of the Kingdom. Our ministry will not be focused on any single individual. Collectively and together as ONE BODY we are The Launching Church. We are all called with a holy calling to be a Kingdom of Kings and Priests unto our God. There is only one Superstar among us, and that is the BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR JESUS CHRIST!
• We are not called to establish this ministry on the gifts or personality of one Pastor or one Leader.
• We are all called to the work of the ministry and we share this joy and responsibility by working together as a unified team.
• We have accomplished our assignment and given God the glory when we have effectively raised up a successor. It is only then that we will be considered for a promotion from God to our next Kingdom assignment.
7. With God’s help, we will have the amazing opportunity to plant “launching and sending” churches here in north Georgia and also into the Nations. An impossible dream that God will accomplish in us and through us for His glory!
• We believe Biblical church planting is the greatest way to strategically reach the lost in our neighborhoods, communities, towns, and cities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• We believe God has called us to launch churches that will be launching churches—churches that will continue to plant new churches.
• We believe God will call and send the men, women and families that He has chosen to be trained up and then launched out. Some will stay with us to help continue to train and launch others out. All of this and so much more begins with a commitment to be connected and grounded here at TLC in love and unity. It is from this place of shared and committed relationships that we are able to experience the joy of victory and fruitfulness as we build God’s Church and advance the Kingdom!
