This is an introduction to TLC. This class is designed to clearly explain the vision and mission of TLC. You will learn who we are and what we are called to do. The class will cover Our Vision, Our Mission, Our Strategy and Our Structure. You will also learn about our core doctrinal beliefs, our history and the future plans of TLC. At the completion of the class you will have the opportunity to take the next step toward becoming a member of The Launching Church or you can choose to wait until another time.
Our passion at TLC is to lead our friends, families and co-workers to become fully devoted followers of Christ. This class will help you develop the lifestyle and habits you need to jump start your spiritual growth as you grow closer to Christ. You will learn about the five essential areas of Christian growth: Time with God (Bible Study and Prayer), Stewardship & Giving, Renewing Your Thought Life, Walking in the Spirit and Fellowship (Connecting in Healthy Relationships) Prerequisites: Must complete Vision First 101.
At TLC we believe God designed church life and ministry to be an exciting adventure. Ministry is not just for the “professional” Pastors, but for every Christian! God has given you gifts and talents that you can use to help build up His Church and advance His Kingdom. In this class you will learn how to discover and assess your talents, abilities and gifts. This class will help you learn where you would thrive and grow best at TLC. The goal here is simple, discovering what you would love to do and then jumping into it! Prerequisites: Must complete Vision First 101 and Core Essentials 102.
