Joel and Charlotte were teachers who felt the call of God on their lives to move to Sydney, Australia, to study at Hillsong’s International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia last year from July 2010 until July 2011. They lived in the western suburbs of Sydney as Joel attended and served as a part of Hillsong church creative in various leadership capacities.

Prior to this, Joel served as a worship leader at Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, GA for 4 years, and was a middle school English and Bible teacher at Fellowship Christian school for 6 years.

Charlotte served as a High School American History and Holocaust Studies teacher for 6 years in the private and home-school environment. She has a passion for the justice of people, a desire to see the end of Human Trafficking and the church be a beacon in the world on behalf of this cause, as well as a sincere love for the Jewish people.

The Flores family are excited to be a part of The Launching Church. As Worship and Arts Pastor, Joel will have responsiblities in leadership training; team building; and descipleship.

Joel and Charlotte have such a passion to build the Kingdom of God, so naturally, they are excited about this next phase of their journey and anticipate all that God is going to do in the lives of those whom they encounter and serve at TLC.
